Packages are customized based on tours selected and room type, number of nights stayed, weekly discounts, # of guests, season, etc. (see room rates & availability). You can price the tours individually above for a close approximation of the costs for the tours. Example in 2009, the Sweetheart Adventure includes 6 tours and a romance package, which price at $1661 per person + tax/gratuity when based on individual tours. There is a slight reduction for room/tour packages, depending on # of tours booked.

Important Notes for Packages:

Packages can be customized by activity, number of nights, and room type.

A sample price for each itinerary/package is provided which assumes two persons in a deluxe room for 7 nights and includes the excursions noted.

We advance schedule the desired excursions to optimize your experience as an independent traveler and provide you with your entry tickets upon arrival to the inn.

Additional nights are additional cost, and would be necessary for some packages. Some packages can be done in fewer nights, and would be less cost.

Those discerning travelers and honeymooners may prefer an upgrade to a premium demi-suite, which there is an additional cost.

I request the travel consultant to reserve the tours/packages requested. I understand space is limited and prepayment is required.  If I cancel  or change a reservation/request more than 30 days prior to the activity, I agree to pay the travel consultant a change/cancellation fee of 20% of tour price, $50, or $120 per hour whichever is greater.  No shows, late arrivals and changes/cancellations within 30 days of activity date are non-refundable, or longer period if required by tour operator policy.

You should Purchase TRAVEL INSURANCE through your local travel agent, on the web (ie. TravelGuard or any other), etc.. to protect your deposits against unforseen cancellation or changes due to a variety of maladies or emergencies, which might include illness, acts of god, etc.

I understand that Pearson's Pond and Alaska Adventure Guide is not an agent for the tour company and will not be liable for any matters relating to the tour, including without limitation injuries, property damage, or any other matters. Maryann Ray dba The Alaskan Pond at Juneau, Pearson's Pond Luxury Inn and Adventure Spa (hereinafter "Pearson's Pond") offer a variety of amenities to their guests including onsite equipment (including bikes, boats, backpacks, fishing gear, cross country skiing equipment, work out facilities, barbeques, fire pit), information relating to local hikes and attractions and trip planning/reservation services.

As a condition of receiving and using any of the foregoing, including tours, the undersigned for themselves, their heirs, successors, assigns and also on behalf of any of their children or other relatives using any of the foregoing, hereby assume all risks associated therewith and waive any claims they might otherwise assert for personal injury, property damage or otherwise against Pearson's Pond and its principals.

Important Additional Information

• Trip planning tips: In summer, plan at least 10 to 20 days in Juneau, the Sightseeing, Wildlife Viewing and Adventure Capital of Alaska. Juneau is one of the few places in the world that is an exotic, yet domestic, complete sightseeing and adventure destination, with hundreds of things to do, all within 15 minutes of wherever you are in Juneau. Pearson's Pond is in the center of the recreation area! With 21 hours of daylight at solstice in mid-summer, you can do a tour each day and still have time for other activities.
• Like Alaska, Juneau is huge. Geographically, it is the largest borough in North America. We find most guests expectations are best fulfilled on a 1 to 3 week trip, (most inn guests stay 12 days on average. Plan on at least two tours each via air, land, & sea (6 tours) and take extra time to dink around independently on the hundreds of trails, islands, shops, museums, tram and other attractions.
• Price is U.S. Dollars, Priced as 2010 rates, unless noted. Please CALL 907-789-3772 if there is not a price on the list for tours or packages. Most packages exclude lodging costs, which we arrange for you at the inn or condos. Prices subject to change without prior notice and subject to availability. 17% Tax and optional gratuity are additional.  Book early to ensure space, as most activities are sold out several months in advance.
• Please Note. Some tours may be subject to fuel surcharges. Weight restrictions apply to some tours (e.g. zip lining, min 90#-max about 200#). Weights of 250 lbs or more will result in surcharges for most helicopter trips. The surcharges are not included in the noted prices.
• Please Further Note. Travel Insurance is very important these days. Refunds of Tours are limited unless the tour is cancelled due to local weather conditions. Travel Guard is one of several companies offering the services.
