Admiralty Island Pack Creek Bear Tour

Bear ViewingFly-in Bear Viewing! Famous Pack Creek Bear Sanctuary! Admiralty Island’s Alaskan Brown Bears and Salmon!

Admiralty Island’s Pack Creek is renowned as one of the most famous bear sanctuaries in the world, and it easily accessed from Juneau. Explore Pack Creek with an experienced, knowledgeable guide for a rare opportunity to intimately observe wild, free living Alaskan Brown Bears in their natural habitat. Many people dream of visiting Pack Creek, though few are privileged to actually experience it.

Your experienced floatplane pilot lands near the sanctuary where you will walk to one of the prime viewing areas. He’ll also guide you through the forest to the upper viewing platform to watch the bears feeding on salmon below, depending on feeding patterns.

Bear Permits, flight, guiding, binoculars, boots, & rain wear provided. check available dates. You should be in good health, be able to enter/exit the floatplane independently, and walk along uneven and slippery surfaces.

While tours are available May through September, permits & tours are limited during peak bear viewing season: 7/5-8/25. Book Early! There is a 2 person minimum, with a 5 person maximum for this tour.
