A full day of sportfishing in Alaska is an angler’s dream come true. You'll be fishing in one of the best halibut fishing grounds in Southeast Alaska in comfortable boats with warm cozy cabins, marine heads and galleys.

Leave the crowds behind and enjoy eight hours of fishing heaven on Inside Passage waters rich with marine life. As you are jigging for halibut, you will have an unequaled opportunity to photograph nesting eagles, sea lions, seals, humpback and Orca whales. Most boats depart from Auke Bay Harbor, so you will likely enjoy views of Mendenhall Glacier and Mendenhall Towers from your boat.

Your fishing boat is waiting with everything you will need - bait, tackle, Alaskan snacks (which often include smoked salmon) refreshments, full lunch, and rain gear if needed.

Halibut are generally found a little further from shore so expect an hour or more boat ride from the dock. Halibut fishing requires full day charter.

Duration: 8 hours. Licenses can be purchased on-board. Maximum of 6 persons on a boat, rotating fishers 4 at a time. Fuel surcharge may apply.
