Embark on a cruise that guarantees you’ll see whales and other Alaskan wildlife! Take a short motorcoach ride to scenic Auke Bay where you’ll board a 20-40 passenger high-speed boat specifically designed for wildlife viewing. You'll get to the whale’s feeding grounds quickly and stop along the way to observe and photograph marine mammals in their natural environment.

You’ll be warm and comfortable in the spacious main cabin as your experienced captain guides you through the island-studded waters of Stephen’s Passage. Super-sized windows allow excellent viewing of our rugged Alaskan scenery and abundant marine and wildlife.

Against the majestic backdrop of the lovely Chilkat Mountains and glaciers of the Juneau Icefield, the on-board naturalist will explain the behavior and habitat of wildlife you may encounter; including humpback and orca whales, Steller sea lions, Dahl’s porpoise, harbor seals, bald eagles and Sitka black tail deer.

The operators of this tour guarantee you will see a whale during our summer season or you’ll receive a complimentary seat on another of their cruises or a 50% refund as you disembark. The sightseeing and wildlife viewing will be worth the entire trip in any case and whales are spotted on 99.9% of the cruises. Don’t anticipate a refund; in the past eight years, whales have been sighted on every tour! To fully experience the sights and sounds of a close encounter with wildlife, be sure to bring a warm, rainproof jacket to wear on the topside observation deck, and don’t forget your camera! Throughout the cruise, your attentive crew will offer complimentary snacks and beverages.
