Wedding Package &
Honeymoon Options - 2007 ( 2008 pending, budget 10% more)
- Wedding prices are based on a
destination wedding package for 2 to 4 persons for non-exclusive rental of
facility/property. More persons are $50 per person for weddings at the inn/gardens (maximum 16 persons - or up to 30 if renting 5 guest rooms as well), and a variable rate if helicopter, boat, catering, etc. services are involved.
- Ground Transportation: If ground transportation is
included in package, it includes an escorted shuttle between locations in a
4 passenger sedan or van.
- Transportation/Vehicle Upgrades: To add, use rates shown. To upgrade, add difference beyond sedan rate.
- escorted 4 passenger sedan, $125/hour
- 6 passenger black
limousine, $150/hour.
- 8-10 passenger white limousine,
$200/hour.
- from $200/hour for 20-30 passenger bus
- All have one hour minimum charge each way/transfer. Average time is about 3 hours
for wedding including pick up, stop
to pick up marriage license, deliver to destination, wait time for wedding
and reception, and return. Add at least 1/2 hour to visit glacier
(+$5 per person visitor fee), add 1/2 hour to stop at Pearson's Pond for
photo disk burn, add 1 to 3 hours for a Juneau tour.
- Sightseeing or adventure tours. We can arrange. We can also arrange to have the wedding performed during a tour. Call
- Photography. Pre-priced packages that include photography are for destination weddings for 2 to 4 persons with standard professional photography. This includes pictures of the bride, groom, bride
and groom together and scenery pictures: the ceremony ~ exchanging of the vows, the ring
exchange, the kiss and other special moments ~ champagne toast, cake cutting ceremony, first dance, etc.
- If you use film photography, you receive twenty 4x5 proof prints in a mini-album from which to select two 5x7
retouched prints, and one 8x10 retouched print. Standard retouching on the negatives for enlarged prints include eye glass glare,
shadows, blemishes, etc. ~ not wind blown hair, etc. If you use Digital Photography, your photos will be provided on a CD or DVD. Photographers also will link your proofs on the Internet so family and friends can select reprints
as well.
- To add standard professional photography via 35 mm film - large fromat standard starts at $400
for up to
2 hours, $200/hour thereafter or $500 and $250 respectively for digital photography, for a standard packaged wedding and mini-reception
for photographer and 1 roll film, extra rolls $50.
- Inquire to add premium professional photography, which typically starts at $1500 and typically ranges up to $15,000 depending on size of wedding, size of package, award-winning photographer. Inquire at 907-789-3772.
- Prices subject to change without notice and may depend on availability of contracted vendors.
- More or exotic flowers, cakes, toast, or other items beyond examples
shown or included in package are available at extra fee. Inquire. The
examples are shown as a guide, you can modify the color, shape or flower
types.
- Music Options:

(postlude), background for reception
and 0-3 dances.
- Bring your own CD, (small player
available, $30 rental if not
otherwise included in package, or
bring your own)
- Live Guitar rhythm, with or
without light singing (wide
selection of standards & popular
available, fee varies, starting from $ 300. Call
Most weddings include playing a nice CD
version of Pachabels Canon, Bridal Processional, Recessional, first dance
and romantic background music pre & post wedding.
- Separate Wedding and Reception Venues, inquire.
- Inclement Weather for Glacier Weddings: If glacier flight is cancelled due to inclement
weather, move Wedding & Reception to Pearson's Pond Luxury Inn and
Adventure Spa with glacier, water or forest views, OR Glacier Gardens
Rainforest Adventure (includes admission to gardens and tour), OR shoreside
shelter at Mendenhall Glacier Lake, or atop Mt. Roberts via Tram with views
of Juneau or mountains. Each has several outdoor or a covered or indoor
location options. Deduct $300
- Wedding Only: For weddings only (no mini-reception) at Pearson's
Pond Luxury Inn and Adventure Spa, deduct $100 each for excluded item, such as cake,
toasting beverage, flowers, garden location.
- Extra guests for wedding & reception: If beyond 4
persons, add $50 per person at Pearson's Pond with maximum of 16 (or
up to 30 total if entire facility with guest rooms rented). Includes guest seating,
toasting beverage, cake, dishware, paper products, set-up, clean-up, etc.
Breakage additional. Call for additional catering pricing. Call for extra helicopter
seat pricing.
